Family house and professional office located in the residential area of Bellaterra.
Given the shape, orientation and topography of the site the building is located focused on the buildable land area leaning north to take advantage of maximum sunlight and generate wider south outer zone.
It is a compact building with a unit volumes spread over three floors. The basement concentrated service area consists of garage, machine room, storage rooms, pantry, gymnasium with sauna and shower and locker room staff toilet. The ground floor contains the living room dominated by a fireplace, library, guest bedroom, guest bathroom, TV room, kitchen, office and laundry-iron. The first floor is divided into two areas, one with three bedrooms, their bathrooms and the master suite with bathroom and dressing area and a separate access from the street to the office and outbuildings (meeting room, library, office , WC).
As a result of the slope the garden is formed by terracing with pebbles to fit the original topography and vegetation has been done with criteria xeriscape, low maintenance and water spending.
The energy obtained from geothermal wells and solar panels that act, which together provide heat in winter and cool in summer for all the facilities: hot water, cooling radiant heating, air conditioning and swimming pool. Rainwater are collected in a large reservoir and used for irrigation, swimming pool, laundry and toilets. Insulation oversized building envelope allows huge energy savings.
